The year is coming to its end but we still have lots to do. We have just come back from a very successful Oxford Ceramics Fair. Great to see all our potter friends and the fair was very busy, in spite of the forecasted storm, and sales were excellent.
Our 50 year celebratory exhibition had a splendid opening last Sunday with many visitors on the day and good sales. It has been a very exhausting time for David and I making the work over the last few months but we were thrilled with the reception the exhibition received. We were so pleased that David Binch kindly agreed to open the exhibition and we had a party here afterwards with over 80 people coming to the Pottery. Our great thanks go out to Philip Hughes of Ruthin Craft Centre for his support.
It has been an very busy year so far and the weeks slip away. I spent the early few weeks of the year writing our book, which has been my intention for some long time but a busy life never seemed to give any time to settle down to it. Anyhow now it is on its way but I will not be able to carry on until the Autumn as the weeks are too hectic now.
