David Frith - Teabowls

The tradition of teabowls comes from the East and now the form has been captured by many European potters. It is such a special form and hard to describe its significance in Western terms. The small bowls are a very personal statement about the potter. The teabowl needs to be used and cupped in the hand to feel the nature of the material and its significance.
